Divya Bannerjee is a warm and experienced registered psychologist with a Master of Clinical Psychology.
She provides personalised therapy grounded in a recovery-oriented, patient-centred approach that values collaboration, respect, and empowerment.
Divya primarily works with adults and has a strong background in hospital-based care, using a trauma-informed lens shaped by her work with first responders, veterans, and police officers. She has also worked in corporate settings, as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider for employees of large organisations, aged care and substance use services, supporting some of the most vulnerable populations. This broad experience enables her to provide psychological care to individuals facing grief, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, stress, and life transitions.
As a trained mindfulness and meditation teacher and practitioner, Divya integrates mindful practices into therapy to enhance patients' self-awareness and emotional resilience. She draws on a range of evidence-based therapies - including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Committed to culturally sensitive and inclusive care, Divya creates a safe, respectful space where patients feel seen, understood, and supported in their journey toward healing and growth.
