Lorraine Skinner is a clinical psychologist with a Master of Clinical Psychology and extensive experience in private practice and academic research.
She supports patients with a broad range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, trauma, grief, relationship issues, addiction, self-esteem, and stress. Lorraine has a particular interest in perinatal mental health and is committed to providing warm, compassionate therapy tailored to her patient’s needs.
She draws on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Lorraine’s approach is anchored in care, respect and collaboration and she creates a safe therapeutic space where patients feel heard, validated, and empowered to make meaningful change. She works closely with each client to co-design treatment plans that align with their goals and values, supporting them at every step of their journey.
