Michael is a psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting adults and young people through range of mental health challenges. His diverse career experience includes working with community organisations, residential rehabilitation, private practice and programs supporting veterans, youth at risk and people living with disability.
Michael works in across many areas including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, trauma, bipolar, life transitions and stress-related injuries. His approach is flexible and practical, drawing on CBT, ACT, DBT, MI, Schema Therapy and mindfulness-based techniques to meet the needs of each patient. He also has extensive experience in group therapy and attachment-based work.
Known for his warmth, clinical insight and clear communication, Michael creates a space where clients feel understood and empowered. He’s praised for his ability to get to the root of an issue quickly and work collaboratively to support meaningful and lasting progress. Michael is also a registered WorkCover and Victims Services counsellor and provides therapy under DVA, NDIS and PHN-funded programs.
